Luxe Beauty Buyin'
Monday, 15 August 2016
I've been shopping. To put it mildly. Ahem. In my defence, everything ran out at one, I had loyalty points to redeem, I just really, REALLY wanted to shop... So yes, a high-end/luxe beauty haul is the subject of today's post. Here what I bought:
The impulse purchase - a mini Mason Pearson Hairbrush. The boar bristles gently massage and stimulate the scalp to stimulate and distribute its natural oils. It detangles effortlessly, gliding through my thick hair without snagging. My hair can be prone to frizz but this leaves it smooth and free of static.
My go-to scent - Tom Ford Velvet Orchid. If you're a long time LLA reader you'll know from posts like this from 2012?! that I wore Black Orchid for years and Velvet Orchid since its launch. This smells heady and musky without being overpowering. It smells decadent, expensive and utterly addictive.
HG skincare product - Biologique Recherché Lotion P50v. What more can I say about this longstanding favourite. I feel panic when this starts to run low. A game changer that screams efficacy. A restorative exfoliating experience. If you're in Dublin, Vedas Beauty stock BR.
Luxury personified - La Mer The Hand Treatment. The ultimate hand cream for those dedicated to soft hands. Hydrating, nourishing, fast absorbing and smells divine. An undeniable luxury.
