The Lips #10: A Peachy Pout
Sunday, 14 April 2013
There are two things that will always be beauty staples here at LLA. One being a nude nail and the second a peach lip colour. These are some of my faves:
First up is MAC Ravishing the darkest of the lot, a more orange toned peach. A cremesheen formula, my favourite MAC finish, so adds a nice creamy opaque colour to the lips. Moisturising and comfortable to wear. Next up is NARS Barbarella which I think will be my lipstick of the Summer (if we get one!) This doesn't offer much pigmentation so therefore doesn't last long but adds a nice sheer wash of colour, for a more subtle lip.
If it is colour pay off you're after, perhaps YSL Rouge Volupté #30 Fabourg Peach is for you. A gorgeous peach shade with the most perfect smooth, creamy, opaque formula. I find that this doesn't last too long on me because it is so creamy, that is slips but maybe that's just me!
Two that offer a "my lips but peachier" *groan* finish would be Chanel Rouge Coco Shine in Evasion and good old MAC Hue. Similar in consistency to the NARS one, the Chanel shade doesn't give much colour but adds a beautiful peach sheen to the lips. More on the pink side, MAC Hue. This is the perfect milky pink/peach shade and will always be a favourite of mine.
Not that I need anymore, have you read my recent posts - ALL lip product related. But what is your favourite peach shade? Spoken like a true addict...
(Actually, the ahem Easter Bunny brought me MAC Shy Girl oops.)
