Topshop Summer Haul
Switching it up from skincare to style in today's post.  I recently got my hands on these Topshop sandals after weeks of frantically refreshing the site as my size was sold out.  But the shopping gods aligned and I my size came back in! #Blessed.  These are the Topshop Holiday Cross Strap Sandals.

They are flat so already a winner in my book!  I'm sorry but I just can't be traipsing around town on hot days in heels.  The suede leather means that they are super comfortable and stay on my feet!  They are simple but chic and can be dressed up or down.  The calf hair leopard print adds a little somethin' to my usual all black (or more recently all white) outfits. A broderie anglaise blouse, skinny jeans and these = Summer outfit sorted.

Like evening hikes from Greystones to Bray, weekend BBQs, beer gardens, Teddy's icecream cones, and swapping lattes for iced coffee.  I also wanted to switch up some style staples.  Are we still ironically wearing Birkenstocks?  Just in case, I bought these Topshop Holiday Cross Strap Sandals and they are most definitely a new favourite and I managed to find them on sale - bonus!  That never happens to me. I'm so sorry to share these when they seem to be sold out but they may still be in store and there are similar ones online.

Clarins Double Serum

Clarins Double Serum 2017 Review, Photos
I've been using the brand new Clarins Double Serum for the last few weeks.  I turned 35 yesterday *cries* so it was time to up my skincare game.  Let me tell you, this is a game changer!  Serums have long played an important part of my skincare regime due to their high concentration of active ingredients and this is no exception.

Just when you thought that this cult serum couldn't get any better.  Two serums in one, with both a water and oil phase.  Packed with potent and powerful plant extracts and the new addition of turmeric. It works to boost the skin's five vital functions; hydration, nutrition, oxygenation, protection and regeneration  It also optimises the performance of the rest of your skincare routine.  I've seen visible results in the short few weeks of use so I'm excited to see what continued use brings.  My skin is smoother, softer and has that elusive radiant glow.  I apply this morning and night to my face and oft neglected neck before going in with moisturiser.   I love the new feature of the revamped packaging with the adjustable dial dispenser to customise how much product comes out.  It reduces waste and allows you to measure the dosage.  My skin can err on the oily side so I use less in the mornings but I haven't had any issues since incorporating this into my routine.  It serves as an excellent makeup primer.

The formula of the Clarins Double Serum* is lightweight and easily absorbed, sinking straight into the skin without any greasiness or residue.  Summer stressed skin is plumper and soothed.  Less lacklustre, more new lease of life.  €72 for 30ml and €92 for 50ml.  It's now available on Clarins counters nationwide.

While on the subject of Clarins, they've worked with the FEED Project for the last several years to amazing success.  The FEED Project works to provide meals to schoolchildren in developing countries.  With any purchase of €65 you can receive an amazing GWP (more details on my Insta') and 10 meals for children will be provided.  So try something new or repurchase old favourites while doing something worthwhile.  Go, go, go!

Tata Harper Purifying Cleanser

Tata Harper Purifying Cleanser Review
As a self confessed skincare addict, I love nothing more than trying new products.  I recently found myself in Space NK (of course I did!) and purchased the Tata Harper Purifying Cleanser.  A good cleanser is the corner stone of a solid skincare routine no and this has become a regular in my routine.

I mostly use this after removing my makeup, as an ideal second cleanse candidate.  It effectively removes makeup and grime, cleansing gently yet thoroughly.  The purifying cleanser clarifies and leaves my oily/combination skin feeling refreshed and hydrated.  This is a joy to use in the evening at the end of a long Summer's day, complete with a stuffy, crowded, non air-conditioned commute!   This cleanser boasts a light, creamy texture with a fresh, uplifting, lemon-y scent.  With a formula that includes fruit enzymes, it works to refine and restore radiance to the skin.  A truly double duty, multi-tasking product, it leaves skin moisturised and nourished.  It detoxes without drying or stripping the skin.  Dull skin and oil troubles alike are tackled.  While not the most practical for travelling with, the sturdy glass bottle makes an aesthetically pleasing addition to the bathroom skincare shelf.

In terms of application, I apply this to dry skin, massage it in for a few minutes and then remove it with a warm, soaked muslin cloth or flannel.  I adore this.  I positively relish at the prospect of using this everyday.  It takes cleansing to the luxe level.  At €65 it isn't cheap and that is why I hesitated in buying this before.  So, I may have flinched at the till point but for me this spend-y skincare is worth the splurge.  (And I'll be pumping out the very last remnants from the bottle!)
